About the role
We are seeking for the right person to lead and develop the SME Sales teams for Commercial in Finland and be part of the journey in driving rapid growth of digital and remote based sales in the Nordic countries. In this role, you will be working in the growing sales channel, as well as be in the forefront of converting us to a more digitally capable company.
About the unit
If is the largest P&C insurer in the Nordics, a digital forerunner among insurers, currently on a quest to become the most customer-oriented player in the industry. The SME Sales unit belongs to If's Commercial business area where we serve around 340,000 businesses and their people in the Nordic countries, ranging from small one-person companies to large corporations. The SME Sales Finland unit consist of approximately 80 sales professionals, who ambitiously work towards ensuring that our small and medium customers are offered the most suiting insurance solution. The unit cooperates internally with other sales channels, our product & support functions both in Finland and in the Nordics, as well as externally with our external partners. Currently, this unit is a high performing unit with highly motivated and skilled teams of insurance experts.
Who are you?
You are a motivating sales leader with a high business acumen. You preferably have a track record in developing and leading a sales organization, proven by the actual sales development. You respect your colleagues and our customers, and are willing to invest in understanding their needs and motivation, while constantly seeking what is best for the business.

Analytical and data-driven approach on developing sales and prospecting

Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate both presentations and negotiations on complex business issues

Understanding how digital content and inbound marketing integrates with sales funnels

Inner desire and curiosity for continuous improvement and experiments

Preferably academic background

Fluency in Finnish and English.
