Fashion Store Manager [Nigeria]


 

A luxury fashion house seeks a driven, detailed and creative Operations/General Manager who is a go-getter. The ideal candidate will be both passionate and fluent in the fashion and retail world, with experience and existing relationships in this field. Illustration and sketching know-how is a big plus but not a requirement.

Work- type: Fulltime

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos (Accomodation is Available)

Working hours: Mon – Sat, 9:30am - 6:30 pm

Responsibilities

● The Fashion House Operations Manager will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
● Hire and train management staff to execute the business plan and maintain the Company's standards.

● Work with the Creative Director to develop effective marketing strategies to establish and grow brand awareness and consequently boost sales.

● Manage the day-to-day activity of the business without supervision.

● Monitor operational expenses and device budgeting systems with systems

● Drive business development and expansion strategies to strengthen the company's market position.

● Be responsible for launch the new products in timely and effective manner.

● Supervise and Drive team adherence to development and production timelines.

● Assist the Production Manager in creating designs and take measurements of customers.

● Supervise quality assurance (Quality control).

● Research fashion trends and be active on social media

● Oversee production of ready-to-wear and bespoke clothing from point A to Z.

● Stay abreast of various contemporary styles.

● Choose materials and sources for the market when necessary

● Keep track of inventory at all times in order to avoid setbacks due to shortages.

● Willing to represent or be the face of the brand whenever necessary.

● Home service when necessary.

Requirements

● University Graduate in any field.

● At least 3 years practical experience in a Fashion Company in a similar role

● Demonstrated leadership and project management capability

● The individual must be detailed, process driven, productive and proactive.

● Must look presentable at all times.

● Punctuality and presentation are key.

● Excellent Communication and Customer Relationship skills.

● Conversant with Excel, Microsoft Office. ● Open to travel opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦200,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
