This position is responsible for effectively assisting food and beverage services and aiding in the overall logistics of the catering events by way of set-up, clear communication and teamwork, while maintaining the company’s standard for excellence. Responsibilities: includes but are not limited to:
- Loading and unloading the equipment for the events.Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism.
- Set-up and breakdown of tables, linens, chairs, etc, for full service of catering events.
- Polish flatware and glassware to remove all visible water spots and ensure cleanliness.
- Attending to customers/chef needs.
- Provide excellent food and beverage service.
- Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
- Maintain sense of urgency when on the service floor.
- Maintain positive and professional attitude.
- Seek council from management when needed.
- Complete other assigned duties when necessary.
- Maintain clear and open communication between all staff members for overall event success.

- Required to lift/carry heave equipment.

Qualifications/Skills
- PRIOR HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE NOT REQUIRED BUT STRONLY RECOMMENDED
- 1+ year working knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Ability to read, speak and write English in order to understand menus and special promotions, professionally communicate with guests, assist guests with special requests, and take orders.
- Ability to frequently lift/carry over 30 lbs
